For one of our clients in The Netherlands, we are searching 3 – 5 experienced Project Managers.
A great job at a great company. The team you will join has over 15 different nationalities and is a mix of PhDs, MScs and BScs.
Thee department focusses on carrying out engineering, design tasks and advice for high-voltage structures and /or substations for electrical transmission and distribution.
The work that has to be done is mainly related to the feasibility or basic design phase of clients’ projects.
Examples of project subjects are:
- Feasibility and basic design of new and uprating of existing overhead line connections
- Magnetic field studies
- Electromagnetic compatibility and earthing studies
- Power Failure Investigations (PFI)

- You will independently manage challenging multi-disciplinary projects.

- You quickly identify bottlenecks and risks, evaluate what is needed and act.
- You are confident but modest in dealing with scope creep, problems or disagreements.
- You take integral ownership of your projects ensuring quality delivery within time and budget constraints.
- You schedule resources and perform financial forecasting to increase the predictability in our workload and financial results.
- You are a sparring partner for colleagues, co-manage our challenges, workload and bottle necks.
- Write (or contributing to) clear high-quality reports and commercial offers.
Position Qualifications
We are looking for an enthusiastic, result-oriented, fun to work with project manager who actively contributes to the success of our TDT team and works together to create results.
You have:
- BSc or MSc level in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering;
- background in electrical/mechanical/civil engineering;
- Dutch and English language skills, both oral and written;
- attitude to take responsibility for own tasks and open mindset (out of the box thinking);
- excellent knowledge of Project Management and Risk Management methodologies;
- PMI certification is desirable;
- well balanced technical and commercial skills with broad qualification incl. commercial & legal;
- commitment to customer centricity;
- ability to build and maintain relationships with customers;
- ability to work effectively and professionally with diverse customers and co-workers;
- flexibility and adaptability (issues and tasks may change quickly);
- experience in Management of Contractual Terms and Conditions;
- strong attention to details and good organizational skills;
- the ability to connect people and enjoy working with different stakeholders.
